Kat (Kathleen) Young
REGISTERED OSTEOPATH
Kathleen is a dedicated osteopath with a Bachelor of Clinical Sciences and a Master of Osteopathy from Southern Cross University. After relocating from the Gold Coast to Canberra, she is excited to continue pursuing her passion for women’s health osteopathy within the local community.
With a background in remedial massage, Kathleen developed a strong interest in the human body and its ability to heal. Wanting to expand her knowledge and offer a broader range of care, she went on to study osteopathy. This journey deepened her passion for understanding the body’s innate healing capacity and supporting patients in a holistic, individualised way.
Her areas of interest include women’s health, pelvic pain and pregnancy care. She is trained in pelvic health, including bladder concerns, incontinence and prolapse management, and also supports patients experiencing low back pain, headaches, neck pain and jaw pain.
Outside of the clinic, Kathleen is a mother to two beautiful children who are enjoying their new adventure in Canberra. On weekends, if she’s not heading to the coast for a surf, you’ll likely find her exploring local trails on foot or by mountain bike.
