If your condition relates to the pelvic floor, an internal vaginal or rectal examination may be advised as part of diagnosis and treatment. This will be discussed fully during your appointment. Alternative options are always given should you wish for this not happen.
After the assessment, together a plan will be created to achieve your goals and to improve your pelvic symptoms and overall wellbeing.
